Omnivex DataPipe 3 is the complete data management solution. Omnivex DataPipe 3 allows you to acquire data from virtually any source to be included and displayed into your digital signage.

Using Omnivex software your digital signage display can include sales figures, inventory levels, operational statistics, real time financial data, news, weather, web services and RSS feeds to name a few. Even the status of hardware devices like contact devices, facility monitoring systems and RFID tags are valuable data items.

Omnivex DataPipe 3 is comprised of 2 components. The Omnivex DataPipe 3 Server is the central clearing point or “hub” for all networked data activity. Omnivex DataPipe 3 Clients connect to the Omnivex DataPipe 3 Server via TCP/IP, enabling users across the network to contribute data to all other users and to any connected Omnivex Display 3 Players.

Omnivex software provides improved ways of bringing together operational data from databases utilising DDE ( Dynamic Data Exchange) protocol. Data is inputted and displayed in an easy to use spreadsheet format and managed on multiple, user-named sheets. When data is inputted by a user or dynamically changes at the source, the change is “pushed” to every other connected client and Omnivex Display 3 Player. >>more
